As we all know the pandemic situation is ever changing.  This page will provide updates to our members as they happen.

Our first priority is the health and wellness of our staff, our members, and community.  

Until further notice our lobbies are CLOSED.   

A walk-up teller is available to do transactions in the reception area at our 2nd Ave location.

Drive-up lanes are open and are operating normal business hours.

Walk-up and drive-up business hours are:  Monday - Thursday: 8:30 am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 9:00am to Noon.

Loans will be done by appointment only.  Please contact a loan officer for more information.

Our staff is also implementing social distancing by maintaining distances of at least 6 feet as advised by the CDC.   

We are also sanitizing and cleaning high traffic public areas regularly to limit transmitting the virus.  Staff members are also wearing gloves to help avoid transmittion of the virus.

Through our Online Banking and our FREE mobile app you can:

  • check account balances
  • view transaction history
  • set up account alerts
  • transfer money between your account
  • set up recurring transfers
  • person-to-person payments
  • access e-Statements



Access your account by phone through our Telephone Voice Banking system.  Simply call (515)226-8021 or (800) 870-4245.



To access cash 24/7, use your Journey Credit Union Debit Card or ATM Card without paying surcharge fees at our JCU ATM located at our SE 14th St location or any Privilege Status ATM location.  Click HERE to find the nearest Privilege Status ATM location. 

You are also encouraged to use Depository ATMs to deposit checks and cash to avoid in-person transactions.

We unable to process shared branch transactions.  Journey Credit Union members may still be able to conduct shared branch tranactions at other credit unions depending on their policies.



We continue to process online and paper application loan requests.  Our loan process can be 100% completed without having to physically come in to one of our locations.  We encourange you to apply for loans online by clicking HERE.  Applicants can also send applications to us via snail mail as well as scan and email printed/paper applications to us at:

All deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Association for up to $250,000.

You will have access to your funds whenever you need them, either through one of our locations, shared branch transactions, ATMs, or via cash back transactions at any POS system.

We advise against making large cash withdraws and storing that cash at home.  This increases your risk of experiencing a theft or loss of cash. For your safety and security, we advise that you withdraw cash amounts according to your normal daily use.

It has come to our attention that the scammers and theives are using the pandemic to try to take advantage of others.

Please beware of unsolicited calls, texts and emails.  

DO NOT give out any personal or account information to anyone you don't know.

What you can do to lessen transmission and stress during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • WASH YOUR HANDS for 20 seconds
  • Avoid human contact by self-isolating.
  • If out and about, practice social distancing by maintaining 6 foot of space between you and others.
  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and stressed?  
    • These things may help...  
      • Take a walk outside, even if it is just around the block or around your house.
      • Limit screen time
      • Reduce time spent on media and social media sites
      • Read a book
      • Start or Finish a project
      • Listen to music
      • Practice stress reducing Grounding Techniques 
      • Meditate
      • Exercise 



Our awesome team diligently works to keep our members and our member's funds safe and secure.  Therefore, Journey Credit Union has implemented additional benefits and support to help keep our team members healthy and secure during this time of uncertainty.

Health monitoring is being done to insure any team member that is feeling ill or thinks they may have been in contact with a person infected with COVID-19 is staying safe at home under self-isolation. 

Journey Credit Union is also providing benefits to our staff in order to help offset any additional mental and financial stress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Additionally, our team is wearing gloves and implementing social distancing during work hours for their protection and yours.
